It’s been a long time in the making, partially due to lack of time, but I finally have my updated pages, images, and copy more or less corralled and in place. Fingers crossed, anyway. Might still need to do a few 301 redirects, but hopefully I got all the internal links wrangled this go-round.
I’m trying really hard not to think about the main blog page and posts. Those are apt to kick off more kerfuffles.
I will admit I hadn’t planned to pull the trigger on launching all the redesigned pages until next year, but… <shrugs> Best-laid plans, right? 😂
“But why not make them live now?”
Simple: I didn’t want to add that kind of time investment to a plate already overflowing with work and trying to finish settling into my new home.
Work deadlines don’t wait. Plus, I still have entirely too many storage boxes to go through and find places for their contents. And let’s not discuss assembling a large bureau and getting shelves properly mounted to the wall in my bathroom. Or all the yard and storage shed cleanup that needs to happen.
Sheesh. I’m tired just thinking about it. That means it’s time to sit with my understated holiday lighting and relax for a few minutes before I get back to work. Or possibly go to sleep shortly since it’s much later than I thought. Oops!
